Would this be a decent violin for a beginner?
I'm looking to start learning the violin after playing guitar for 7 years and I'm looking for a basic instrument to get me going and then I'll be looking for a better one once I figure out whether or not the violin is really for me as a second instrument. I want to learn to play the Violin. Help!?
I want to learn how to play the violin really bad I've had years of piano experience, but almost all my life, I've loved violin music and have wanted to learn to make it myself. I don't really know if I'll be able to take lessons, due to the cost but is there anyway I can learn on my own? I'm very good at listening to songs and playing them on the piano anyway , and I can do it on my sisters' violins pretty well.What I'm really looking for is some helpful hints websites anything that will help me learn to play.I can only read sheet music a little, so if I learn to play mostly by ear, will I still be able to get pretty far?Thanks
