How does the Suzuki full sized violin Concertino model (Costco $329) perform? I need to quickly purchase!?
I borrowed a violin for my daughter, and it didn't work out. Now she is a week or so behind, and my local stores cannot get one in for a few weeks. I can purchase this model from costco at a very reasonable price, but I am concerned that it will not perform well enough. My daughter is a beginning violinist, so it does not need to be top of the line. Any thoughts on this would be fantastic Thank you
How much should I sell this full size violin & bow for ?
Okay so when I was in elementary school, I was learning how to play the violin and I didn't have one for my own so I borrowed one from the school. Then my cousin went to Vietnam and bought me a violin. She has no idea how much it costed because that was 4 5 years ago. I quit violin this year so now I don't need my violin anymore and I want to sell it. There's a sticker in the f hole that has a lot of chinese characters on it, and at the bottom it says " Made in the people's republic of China" . The bow hair is still white, but there's a SLIGHT grey tint near the frog and the tip. I'm also going to include the rosin shoulder rest, strings, and this thing there you put it on top of the bridge and it changes the tone of the violin. The bridge is handmade from Germany though. The violin itself is fine, but the case is bad. It's a styrofoam case and the nail that connects that top part of the case to the bottom part of the case is broken. So basically, if I open the case, I would not be propped up. Instead, it would just lay flat.I AM aware that this violin and a piece of crap, but the sound quality is clear and loud. Can I put three quarter size strings on a full size violin?
lengthwise,it is not a problem, but I have been told that the tension of the two size strings is quite different.also, can anybody recommend a decent set of violin strings for under $20 ?

im a 5'2 female adult and when i bought my guitar, the full size one was too big for me but a 3 4 size was fine. I had a go on a friends drums too and his normal full size set was too big so im thinking will i need a 3 4 size violin or should 4 4 size be fine?
