Can a very old antique stradivarius violin still be used and played for more years to come?
Its just out of curiosity, but say i bought the oldest looking Stradivarius violin and im only a high school senior, can i still play in in future performances and pass it on to my children and their grandkids and it can still be played? plus, would it still sound good since its old or is it better to get a newer violin any type, professional brands recommed anyone? lol will reconditioning affect the old violin? and also, is there a certain violin string brand you would recommend? just so you'll know, i am only a high school junior going to my senior year and a first violin in advanced orchestra and im looking for a new more advanced violin since i have been only playing with a beginner violin ive had since sixth grade, im just trying to make sure i can get the best type of violin i can so i wont have to buy another for awhile any recommendation for anything violin related bows and violin brands, strings, types of rosin, etc. can help ty P
How much are copies of stradivarius violins worth?
The violin that I have is very old and happens to be in great shape. The wood has a tiger stripe design on the back. It used to belong to my father, he owned it for almost sixty years and it was quite old when he recieved it to begin with.I would say that it could be anywhere from seventy to one hundred and fifty years old. Any informatiom would be greatly appreciated.

I have done a bit of research on Violins lately and came accross the Stradivarius Violin. I read that the violins came from Antonio Stradivari.They are very rare and extremely expense, only very experienced Violinist have them, Such as Pierre Amoyal so I've heard. I was just wondering.When was the first Stradivarius Violin Made? What are some good quality violins that aren't extremely expensive? Thanks and Appreciate the help. I am not interested in Buying one I am just interested to find out more.
