I'm writing this story where music has magical effects on the surroundings and it is a well known fact . One of my characters is a talented violinist which I might change to a violist who, although normally pretty stoic, is currently feeling quite vengeful as he believes his friends have all just been killed. It's stupid, but I can't really write a scene unless I can visualize it and know what it sounds tastes smells feels like to the last detail.Plus, I love this type of music it's just all the ones I find are original pieces on Youtube that I'd feel uncomfortable using wouldn't have permission to use or just don't really fit the situation in the right way .So, if anyone could recommend some pieces...? I would be very appreciative.Thanks in advance

Hello I am a serious French horn player, but recently I've been thinking about picking up violin or viola after marching band ends and I only hAve jazz lab trumpet and orchestra FH . I'll be renting the instrument, not buying. I also have looong fingers Please help me choose ThAnk you Ps. So im about to start high school this fall and i want to join orchestra previously in choir . i want to play violin or viola. when i was in 8th grade i wrote compositions for orchestra yet having no knowledge of the instruments. When the orchestra teacher played my compositions she played each part with the viola. i think that this is a advantage when writing music. ether way i am happy playing the violin or viola.
