I'm going to start learning either violin or viola and want to get one that's not too expensive for a beginner.I found some on swstrings.com and I was wondering if that is a reliable site to buy off of? How are the instruments?

I'm a pianist who wants to add string instruments to her life. I would like to start off with the smallest, hence cheapest one violin.I have zero experience or knowledge with of any other instrument than a piano, embarrassing, and I want to correct that.How massive are the differences between the differently priced violins there are ?? Meaning 'good' & 'bad' instrument comparison.If a cheap 'bad' one will do more harm in the long run, then which one would you suggest ?? I don't yet want the best possible brand, but not the worst one either as I'm quite determined with the idea of playing violin for a longer time.Anything else that I should consider when choosing one for me ?? And anything else that I'd better know ?? Anything I should do more research about ??Currently I have no music teacher to advise me, so I pretty much depend on you guys.And as I said, info on any mentioned string instrument is welcomed to enlighten the clueless.

hi i want to learn the violin and viola and eventually the cello and double bass because i want to be an orchestra teacher when im older. i already play drums guitar and bass and can read music and know a lot of music theory. so is it a good idea to learn both violin and viola at the same time? or should i learn one instrument first and then wait awhile before going on to the next instrument? thanks
